3 easy ways to get the word out
You’re signed up and excited about The Longest Day — what next? It’s time to let your friends and family know about your team, and ask them to join or support your fundraising efforts. Once you’ve updated your personal page, be sure to share it!
Here are 3 ways to share your Web page:-
Social media. Share a photo of yourself in your Longest Day T-shirt on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In or Pinterest, and include a link to your personal page (see instructions below). Tag the friends you think are most likely to join or support your team.

Email. Tell all your friends and family why you participate by sending them an e-mail. You can send a message directly from your Participant Center, or create a short link (see instructions below) to send from your personal email account.

Text message. Download The Longest Day mobile app and send text messages to your friends directly from the app. Each message will contain a link back to your personal page.
To create a short link to share:
Log in to your Participant Center (check your email for your log-in info or request it here) and click on "My Page." Click “Customize Link.”
Finally, highlight and copy (CTRL+c) and paste (CTRL+v) the link into an email or on social media.
