Summer FUNdraising Ideas

Published
The summer solstice may be in the rearview, but The Longest Day 2020 is still going! It’s time to think about how to continue to raise funds through the rest of the summer. Below, you'll find some fun, new ideas to keep the fight 2266d39aae81c5d0e93627a1dfed6d67-huge-tl
against Alzheimer's going throughout the summer.

Offer up some boredom busters:
  • Host a virtual crafting class, and invite others to join for a donation.
  • Put together a neighborhood scavenger hunt and give the list to those who donate.
Beat the heat:
  • Get a large block of ice, and ask others to guess exactly how long it will take to melt in the hot summer sun. Charge a donation per guess.
  • Share your favorite ice cream or popsicle recipe on Facebook live and invite your friends to donate.
Need to get moving?
  • Livestream a virtual fitness class and ask for a donation to attend.
  • Issue a push-up challenge and ask for a donation to compete. 66d8100ddeb21c5e2758715b80822a1d-huge-st

Thanks for these ideas - I love the virtual fundraising guide as well.
This is such a good idea! Super inspiring, our town loves painted rocks!
I asked for donations in exchange for a hand -made painted stone or cloth face covering.
So far I am proud to have passed on $1200.00 in donations.
